ALN Dif, "Tachoantrieb" broken

Postby DoKaLeo » Sun Mar 07, 2010 3:34 pm

Hi,

because of my bad english i have to mix this text with German descriptions. Mavbey someone can correct me here....

because the Tachontrieb of my ALN Differential seems to be broken i am looking for some Parts to fix it again. I guess i will need the Schneckenrad or Ritsel with 19 teeth of ALN or ALM. Does someone know where i can get hand of the parts necissery to fix the Tachoantrieb for ALN? Would there be a possibility to fix this problem at the meeting? I could bring the dif to the meeting.

Regards Leo

Hi Leo,

you should try to get in contact with Aidan Talbot or Frank Booten. Both of them will be at the meeting and can tell you, whether or not it can be fixed at the meeting.

Thanks Henning!

I think when the part i need is available the fixing will only take minutes (I hope it is just the Ritsel thats broken). I will contact Frank and Aiden as soon as i have taken the broken part out of the differential. Those Parts are apperently pretty rare...

Is this the speedometer drive gear that you are talking about? If so I think Aidan has some parts in stock. You can contact him here

Hi Andrew,

it is the thing that drives a cable that goes to the cockpit where it tells us our current speed  ..i think whe are talking about the same part here. Thanks for clearing me up about the english term for this thing and for Aidens contact data.

Speedometer drive gear, seems logic to me ;)
